Job summary

Dover is seeking a Forklift Operator to join our warehouse team in New Jersey. The role requires certification to operate multiple material handling devices and adherence to Safety First and CHART values.

You will handle inbound/outbound movements, perform stock put-away, cycle counts, and WMS transactions with RF or pick-to-light tech. Responsibilities include maintaining a safe, clean workspace, assisting training of new staff, and using UPS/FedEx end-of-day processes as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Material Handling Equipment Certification.
• Knowledge of WMS (Warehouse Management System).
• Proficient in Excel and basic math.
• Favorable driving record for operation of company vehicles.
• Ability to lift up to 60 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Maintains a safe work environment at all times and reports unsafe issues.
• Focus on quality and accuracy as part of company goals (Quality First).
• Uphold CHART values: Caring, Honesty, Accountability, Respect, Trust.
• Maintain a clean work environment following sanitation SOPs and housekeeping standards.
• Participate in on-the-job training covering WMS, safe practices, SOPs, and data entry.
• Safely operate MHE: sit-down counter balance, deep reach, order selector, turret truck, electric pallet jacks.
• Operate WMS and related software (RF, pick-to-light, and computer workstations) as directed.
• Work in Receiving, Pick, Kitting, Shipping, Returns, DEA, freezer, and refrigerated spaces.
• Handle WMS tasks: receiving materials, counting, sorting, verifying item/lot/expiry dates, data entry.
• Assist with outbound loading and ensure orders ship as scheduled; participate in End of Day processes.
• Assist in training new employees as directed.
