Job summary

PRO Pallet is seeking a Forklift Operator in Pennsylvania to safely operate a forklift, follow safety standards, and support efficient plant operations. You will wear a seatbelt, drive at a safe speed, and complete a Daily Checklist by 9:15 AM each shift.

Responsibilities include trailer loading/unloading safety, dock-plate checks, and readiness to cover other areas. OSHA compliance and ability to read English are mandatory, with a 40 lb lifting capability and a willingness to train on multiple

Qualifications

• Must pass forklift safety test per OSHA standards.
• Adhere to all plant safety rules and OSHA regulations.
• Ability to read English and follow detailed instructions.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift safely, wearing seatbelt and driving at a safe speed.
• Maintain situational awareness to protect employees and property.
• Avoid damage from plastic shrink wrap and banding; remove debris promptly.
• Turn off lights and gas at the end of each shift.
• Complete the Daily Checklist and submit by first break (9:00–9:15 AM).
• If using a different forklift, fill out a new Daily Checklist.
• After loading/unloading, ensure dock plate is secured before moving the trailer.
• Be prepared to fill in for other operators as needed.

Education
