Job summary

Martinrea is seeking a forklift operator to support production reporting and material handling on the plant floor. You will load and unload trucks, receive shipments into CMS, and ensure accurate labeling of active and dead parts.

Qualified candidates must have a valid forklift certification, 3–4 years of forklift experience in a fast-paced setting, and be able to read and write English. Proficiency with CMS is a plus and adherence to safety policies is required.

Qualifications

• Must have valid Forklift certification.
• Minimum 3 - 4 years forklift experience in a fast paced manufacturing environment.
• Must be able to read and write in English.
• Ability to follow well defined procedures, with organization skills.
• Ability to use computer inventory system; CMS experience is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Production reporting for all product via CMS reporting menu.
• Responsible for making labels for production parts being manufactured.
• Receive inbound trucks (receiving components, sub-contractor parts, empty bins, etc.).
• Scan received incoming product into CMS.
• Loading and unloading trucks and creating packing slips for outgoing product.
• Ensure bins are stored safely and locations updated for production use.
