Job summary

Baxters North America is seeking a Warehouse Associate to move products and materials in a production environment using powered tools and vehicles. You will operate forklifts, load/unload trucks, and transport items to storage and assembly areas.

Responsibilities include scanning transactions with barcode readers, maintaining safety and FIFO storage, and performing daily forklift checks. High school diploma or GED and forklift certification or ability to certify are required.

Qualifications

• Must be forklift certified or able to pass certification test.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and manuals.
• Basic math and measurement skills.
• Good English communication and comprehension.

Responsibilities

• Operate industrial vehicles and equipment.
• Loads and unloads product from trucks; transports materials to and from storage areas.
• Delivers requisitioned materials to assembly areas; records transactions by scanning with barcode reader.
• Move product and/or materials manually as required.
• Perform daily pre-start check of forklift.
• Follow first-in, first-out storage system.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and company policies and procedures.
