Job summary

Baxters North America, Inc. in Cincinnati, OH is seeking a full-time Warehouse/Forklift Operator to move product and materials in a production environment using powered tools and vehicles.

You will load and unload trucks, scan barcodes, maintain accurate records, and help keep the warehouse organized and safe. The role requires forklift certification or the ability to pass a test and basic English reading/writing skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or 1 year related experience.
• Forklift certification required or ability to pass certification.
• Must read and comprehend English; ability to write simple reports.

Responsibilities

• Operate industrial vehicles and equipment.
• Loads and unloads product from trucks. Transports materials to and from storage areas throughout warehouse.
• Floor stacks unitized materials in warehouse. Places unitized materials into storage racks.
• Delivers requisitioned materials to assembly areas. Records all transactions by scanning product with barcode reader.
• Transports trash from various locations throughout plant and delivers it to the proper location.
• Assists in the breaking down and restacking of pallets on receipt, when necessary.
• Performs daily pre-start check of forklift and completes check list form.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and company policies and procedures.
• Move product and/or materials manually as required.
• Other duties as assigned.
