Job summary

Core Personnel Staffing is seeking a Certified Forklift Operator for a premier building materials manufacturer and distributor in Sealy, TX.

You will operate a forklift to load and unload heavy materials, assist customers, and perform cycle counts while keeping the yard and warehouse organized and safe.

Candidates must have at least 3 months of forklift/warehouse experience, be able to lift 25–50 lbs, and pass Hazmat and pre-employment screenings.

Qualifications

• 3+ months of forklift, warehouse, or building materials yard experience.
• Ability to pass Hazmat exam and pre-employment drug screening and background checks.
• Must be able to regularly lift 25–50 lbs.

Job Summary

Core Personnel Staffing is hiring a Certified Forklift Operator for a premier building materials manufacturer and distributor in Sealy, TX.

In this role, you will be responsible for operating a forklift to safely load and unload products, assist customers, perform cycle counts, and keep the material yard and warehouse running smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

Forklift & Material Handling: Safely operate a forklift to move, load, and unload heavy building materials in accordance with company safety standards.

Yard & Warehouse Maintenance: Maintain the organization, cleanliness, and efficiency of the brick yard and warehouse storage areas.

Inventory Control: Perform routine cycle counts and assist with material identification and tracking.

Customer Service: Provide courteous and direct assistance to arriving drivers and customers loading product.

Equipment Care: Perform routine minor maintenance checks on operating equipment and report any needed repairs.

Qualifications & Requirements

Experience: 3+ months of related forklift, warehouse, or building materials yard experience.

Skills: Ability to quickly identify materials, execute basic time management, and prioritize task lists.

Physical Demands: Must be able to regularly lift 25–50 lbs.

Screening & Exams: Ability to pass a Hazmat exam, as well as pre-employment drug screening and background checks (Safety-Sensitive Position).
