This is a contingent position based upon contract award

KBR is seeking a highly motivated and career-oriented Certified Fitness Trainer /Physiologist to join our team supporting a government client with locations in Washington Metropolitan Area.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and conduct fitness programs at the customers facilities.
• Plan and execute health fairs tailored to specific customers’ needs and occupational groups.
• Conduct health education briefings.
• Perform fitness evaluations.
• Assist in the maintenance of fitness equipment.
• Develop weekly and monthly reports on metrics, programs, and areas of concern.
  
  

Qualifications

Required:

• Clearance Requirement: TS/SCI with willingness to sit for a poly upon request
• 3+ years of experience
• Must be a US Citizen
• Bachelor of Science in Exercise Physiology, Exercise Science, or a related discipline
• Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Certification.
• Certified Instructor (Certifications preferred NASM, ACSM, CSCS) or hold a higher education level than a BS degree.
• Experience with both personal and group training.
• Experience training and providing advice to a wide variety of people with differing physical capabilities.
• Experience creating and managing health education programs.
• Experience performing fitness evaluations.
• Ability to be positive and have positive interactions with others.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to use the Microsoft Office suite.
  
  

Basic Compensation:

$34,600 - $51,900

This range is for the Maryland area only

The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, abilities and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity.

Additional Compensation:

KBR may offer bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation to certain job titles or levels, per internal policy or contractual designation. Additional compensation may be in the form of sign on bonus, relocation benefits, short term incentives, long term incentives, or discretionary payments for exceptional performance.
