Job summary

Planet Fitness is seeking a Fitness Trainer to foster a welcoming, motivating atmosphere for members and deliver the PF group fitness program (PE@PF) with exceptional service. You will schedule classes, engage members on the club floor, promote the Judgement Free Zone, and provide personal training options to help members reach their goals.

Daily duties include greeting members, answering calls, and keeping all areas clean and safe.

Qualifications

• Certified Personal Trainer from a recognized organization (e.g., ACE, NASM, NSCA).
• Knowledge of exercise physiology, strength training, and cardiovascular conditioning.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate others.
• Ability to work well in a team and independently.
• CPR/AED certification (or ability to obtain within a timeframe).
• Passion for fitness and helping others succeed.

Responsibilities

• Create and manage the class schedule, including orientation and DYOP sessions.
• Proactively engage with members on the club floor to discuss goals and assist with equipment usage.
• Promote the Judgement Free Zone by encouraging members and following club policies.
• Conduct club floor walks to ensure a safe, clean, welcoming environment.
• Conduct prospective member calls and tours, outlining personal training options.
• Greet members, answer calls, and maintain cleanliness of equipment and spa areas; support restrooms and daily routines.
