We are searching for Certified Fitness Trainers to join our planet! In this position, you will be responsible for running the Planet Fitness group fitness program (PE@PF). This includes assisting new members in the achievement of their fitness goals by designing a simple workout program and instructing them on the proper use of equipment. Other responsibilities include creating a positive member experience and providing a friendly & beneficial level of training to Planet Fitness members & guests. Awesome Company Benefits:

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Positive & Upbeat attitude!
• Creating the class schedule which includes member orientation and individual classes where programs are designed specifically for members.
• Proactively engage with members on the club floor regarding their fitness goals and instruct them on how to safely use the equipment.
• Help to promote our Judgement Free Zone.
• Be readily available for members when classes are not in session.
• Greet members/guests as they enter and exit the club; assisting them with any questions or concerns as they check in
• Be a team player!

Qualifications:

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Punctuality & reliability is a must
• Nationally Certified Training Certificate required.
• CPR/AED Certified (if not, training to be provided by Planet Fitness)
• Personal training experience preferred.

Physical Demands of the Certified Fitness Trainer role:

• Continual standing & walking during shift.
• Moving about in different positions, including lifting, bending and twisting
• Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds

Compensation Hourly, Quarterly Bonus, Education Reimbursement Compensación: $17.00 per hour
