Job summary

Guardian Security Systems is seeking a motivated Certified Inspection Technician focused on Sprinkler Systems to join our Inspections, Fire Alarm, Security, Service and Confidence Testing divisions in Seattle and Bellingham. You will test life-safety systems per NFPA 72/25, with hands-on, detail-oriented work.

The role requires NICET 2 Sprinkler/Fire Alarm Certification, City of Seattle FEX card, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to pass a drug test.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written; ability to interact professionally with customers.
• Problem solving and self-starting attitude; able to work with little direction.

Responsibilities

• Test and service Fire Alarm Systems, Sprinkler Systems, Fire Extinguishers, and Backflow Systems.
• Perform annual, semi-annual, and quarterly inspections and testing of fire alarms and sprinklers.
• Complete documentation and forms and submit daily to administrative staff.
• Interact with customers professionally and provide clear system status updates to owners and managers.
• Participate in on-call schedule and collaborate with teammates.
