The Role

We are seeking a full-time Certified Financial Planner to join our rapidly growing team. In this role, leveraging the LearnLux digital experience, you will work directly with employees to provide unbiased, holistic financial guidance. Your extensive financial expertise and client-first approach will help employees achieve their personal and financial goals. This position is 100% remote within the US and reports to the Director of Financial Planning.

Key Responsibilities

1. Must be located on the East Coast or able to work East Coast hours (8 AM - 5 PM EST).
2. Engage with clients remotely via video, chat, and email to provide guidance on topics such as budgeting, student loans, retirement planning, equity compensation, debt management, and more.
3. Apply the LearnLux methodology to adapt to the changing financial environment.
4. Participate in weekly team meetings, sharing your expertise to enhance the LearnLux digital experience.
5. Become familiar with our client's benefit plans to act as an extension of their team during open enrollment periods.
6. Collaborate with our content team to create outlines, lessons, video content, review, and approve content for the LearnLux platform.
7. Design and lead engagement campaigns for employer partners, including webinars and occasional on-site events.

Qualifications & Experience

• CFP designation
• Passion for educating individuals to take control of their financial future
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and follow directions from multiple team members
• Demonstrated initiative and execution skills
• Experience in areas such as Retirement, Equity Compensation, Investments, Budgeting, Debt Management, Student Loans, Cash Flow Planning, Digital Currencies, Estate Planning, Insurance, and more

Nice to Haves

• CPA, Enrolled Agent, or similar certification
• Certification in Credit Counseling
• Additional relevant certifications
• Startup or fintech experience
• Bilingual in Spanish
• Experience creating and delivering presentations to large audiences virtually or in-person
• Availability for occasional evening and Saturday work
• Willingness to travel for on-site events

The pay range for this role is $80,000—$110,000 USD, commensurate with experience and local labor costs.
