Charyl Stockwell Academy is hiring a full-time Building Substitute Teacher at the Hartland campus. Must hold a Michigan teaching certification and endorsement. The CSA District serves about 1,250 students K-12 and emphasizes excellence and strong character.

The Teacher will create a nurturing classroom, develop engaging lessons, assess student progress, and collaborate with staff to support student growth and school initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education (Master’s preferred).
• Valid Michigan teaching certification/license with endorsement in the grade level.
• Strong understanding of child development and effective teaching strategies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with families and staff.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in lesson planning.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver developmentally appropriate lessons aligned to standards.
• Create assessments and monitor student performance through varied methods.
• Collaborate with colleagues to align curricula and participate in professional development.
• Engage in school activities, meetings, and events to support the school's mission.
• Maintain a safe, positive classroom environment and effective communication with stakeholders.
