Charyl Stockwell Academy (CSA) is hiring Upper Elementary Teachers for the 26/27 school year at the Hartland campus. Must have a teacher certification and endorsement.

CSA District serves about 1,250 students K-12 and emphasizes an interdisciplinary model focused on the whole child. We seek passionate educators who collaborate, grow professionally, and engage students with developmentally appropriate instruction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education with Michigan teaching certification and endorsement.
• Master’s degree is a plus.
• Strong understanding of child development and effective teaching strategies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build positive relationships.
• Strong organizational skills and planning/assessment abilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver engaging, developmentally appropriate lesson plans aligned to standards.
• Develop assessments and monitor student performance through tests, quizzes, projects, and presentations.
• Collaborate with colleagues to align curricula and participate in professional development.
• Participate in school activities, meetings and events to contribute to the CSA mission.
• Maintain a safe and positive environment for all students.
• Maintain effective communication with students, parents, and school staff.
• Ensure regular and predictable attendance.

Charyl Stockwell Academy (CSA) District is a public school academy that serves approximately 1,250 students Kindergarten through High School. We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Elementary Teacher to join our team. The Elementary Teacher will be responsible for creating a nurturing and stimulating classroom environment for students. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to student development and a desire to foster a love for learning in young children.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
• Valid teaching certification/license in Michigan with an endorsement in the grade level.
• Strong understanding of child development and effective teaching strategies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in planning and assessing educational activities.
