Job summary

Novant Health in the United States is seeking a certified cardiac sonographer to perform echocardiography studies and stress ECHOs, interpreting hemodynamic data to support patient care.

The role requires an RDCS or RCS credential with up to 6 months to registry, a high school diploma or GED with an associate degree or equivalent in cardiovascular program, and at least two years' echo experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; 2 Year / Associate Degree preferred; Certification Program in lieu of Associate Degree accepted.
• Graduate from a formal Cardiovascular Program that is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (preferred).
• Two years of echocardiography experience preferred.
• Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS or RCS) required; new graduates have 6 months to pass registry.
• Must complete skills validation and competency testing; able to tailor care by patient age; strong verbal communication with staff and physicians.
