Job summary

Novant Health is seeking a skilled Echocardiography Technician to perform echocardiography studies and stress ECHOs, interpret hemodynamic data, and support patient care. The role requires RDCS or RCS credentials and a background in cardiovascular programs.

New graduates have 6 months to pass the registry. Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, with an associate degree preferred or a certified program in lieu of degree.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 2 Year/Associates Degree preferred; Certification Program in lieu of Associate Degree accepted.
• Graduate from a formal Cardiovascular Program that is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Two years of echocardiography experience, preferred.
• Registered Cardiac Sonographer, credentials RDCS or RCS (New Graduate will have 6 months to pass registry), required.
• Ability to successfully complete generic and department-specific skills validation and competency testing.
