Qualifications

• Associate's degree in psychology, sociology, counseling, social work, criminal justice, education, nursing, or health is required or equivalent.
• Active Licensure as LCDC/LCDC-I, licensed social worker, or LPC/LPC-A is preferred/required per the posting.
• At least two years of direct client services experience related to substance abuse or mental disorders.

Responsibilities

• Provide instruction to offenders for the DWI programs.
• Interview, screen, and evaluate offenders for program participation.
• Maintain offender records and report workload statistics.
• Demonstrate strong communication and instructional abilities.
• Use diverse teaching strategies and evaluate pre/post-test instruments.
• Promote positive social skills and provide feedback to staff on interventions.
• Ensure staff, offenders, and property safety and accountability.
