Qualifications

• CMD certification from the Medical Dosimetrist Certification Board required.
• 1 year of experience in radiation therapy treatment planning preferred.
• AHA BLS for Healthcare Professionals preferred.

Responsibilities

• Interpret prescriptions and clinical intent to develop patient-specific radiation plans.
• Design, evaluate, and optimize plans to ensure target coverage and normal tissue sparing.
• Coordinate CT simulation, contouring, image review, and immobilization strategies.
• Collaborate with Radiation Oncologists, Medical Physicists, and Therapists across planning and treatment.
• Assist with specialty procedures such as brachytherapy or adaptive planning as applicable.
• Maintain accurate treatment planning documentation within EMRs and planning systems.
