Napa Valley Care Center in Napa, CA is seeking an experienced Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) to lead our dietary services team. This is a full-time opportunity with pay ranging from $33 to $38 per hour, DOE, and a comprehensive benefits package.

You will oversee daily dietary operations, ensure regulatory compliance, and support clinical nutrition goals while delivering high-quality meals and a positive dining experience for residents.

Qualifications

• Current Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) certification.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Knowledge of dietary regulations, food service operations, and sanitation.

Responsibilities

• Manage the daily operations of the dietary department.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, local, and facility regulations.
• Oversee meal planning, food preparation, and service delivery.
• Monitor food quality, sanitation, and safety standards.
• Collaborate with the Registered Dietitian and care team.
• Assist with menu development and dietary modifications.
• Supervise, train, and support dietary staff.
• Maintain inventory and supply controls.
• Conduct quality audits and implement improvements.
• Promote resident satisfaction through dining experiences.
• Ensure accurate documentation and records.
