• Hire and supervise all dietary personnel and discipline when necessary.
• Ensure dietary staffing coverage is sufficient in the facility.
• Ensure compliance of dietary services with applicable nutritional, safety, sanitation, and quality standards, state and federal regulations.
• Write and implement dietary policies, procedures, and management systems.

• Ensure that each resident is provided a nourishing, palatable, well-balanced diet that meets the daily nutritional and special dietary needs (State Regulation);
• Hire and supervise all dietary personnel and discipline when necessary;
• Ensure that necessary dietary staffing is present in the facility;
• Ensure that dietary services are in compliance with applicable nutritional, safety, sanitation, and quality standards, state, and federal regulatory requirements;
• Write and implement dietary policies, procedures, and management systems;

Qualifications:

• Maintain a State of Nebraska Dietary Manager certification; CDM,CFPP
• Two years experience in long term care or acute setting;
• Must maintain full-time (minimum of 40 hours per week) status;
