Tutera Senior Living & Health Care in Kokomo, IN is seeking a Certified Dietary Manager to lead our dietary department and ensure nutritious, high-quality meals for residents.

As the Dietary Manager, you will plan, direct, and supervise staff, maintain compliance with federal, state and local regulations, and promote a warm, compassionate dining experience for our seniors. If you are passionate about senior care and have CDM/CFPP/DTR credentials, join our team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, or equivalent, required.
• CDM, CFPP, or DTR credentials highly preferred.
• Prior dietary supervisory experience in LTC/SNF/AL/MC setting.
• Certification in food safety as required by state regulations.
• Professional image and excellent written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

What Will You Do in This Role?

As a Dietary Manager, you will be responsible for planning, directing, controlling, and supervising functions and personnel within the dietary department. You will also safely and efficiently provide nutritionally appropriate food to residents for the purpose of maintaining and enhancing their overall health. The Dietary Manager ensures the provision of quality food service and nutrition care in accordance with Federal, State and Local regulations.

Do You Have What It Takes?

• A fire and passion for working with seniors
• A flexible, fun, and energetic personality
• High school diploma, or equivalent, required
• Trained as a Certified Dietary Manager (CDM), Certified Food Protection Professional (CFPP), or a Dietetic Technician, registered (DTR) highly preferred
• Prior dietary supervisory experience in a LTC/SNF/AL/MC setting required
• Certification in food safety, as required by state regulations
• Professional image in both appearance and behavior
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
