Job summary

Fundamental is seeking a Dietary Manager to oversee the dietary department and ensure high-quality patient meals. You will lead planning, scheduling, staff development, and interdepartmental education to uphold regulatory and quality standards.

The role requires a Certified Dietary Manager with 2+ years of supervisory experience in healthcare settings and licensure as required by law. Strong cost-control and food management skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Must be a Certified Dietary Manager
• 2+ years of supervisory experience in a hospital, skilled nursing facility or other related medical facility
• Training in cost control, food management, diet therapy
• Must maintain current licensure as required by law
• Any combination of experience and training which provides the required skills, knowledge and abilities.
• Reliable transportation required

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, develop and direct the overall operation of the Dietary Department in accordance with current applicable standards
• Schedule department working hours, personnel, work assignments, etc., to maintain quality patient care
• Develop and participate in programs designed for on-the-job training and orientation classes for newly assigned department personnel
• Schedule and/or conduct a monthly in-service for department personnel
• Hold routine departmental meetings
• Provide education to other departments in the facility regarding dietary services

Posted Salary Range

USD $62,000.00 - USD $70,000.00 /Yr.

Wage Commensuration

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience, education and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.

• Any combination of experience and training which provides the required skills, knowledge and abilities.
• Reliable transportation required
