Job summary

Winona Health is seeking a Certified Dialysis Technician to join our Hemodialysis Unit under RN supervision. You will set up and operate dialysis machines, cannulate access, monitor patient vitals, and document care in the EMR to ensure safe, high-quality treatment.

This 0.75 FTE, on-site role features shifts from 5 am to 5 pm with every other weekend and holidays. Starting wage ranges from $19.00 to $23.75 per hour, based on experience.

Qualifications

• Must have current Dialysis Technician Certification (CHT or CCHT)
• BLS Certification
• Basic Computer Skills: Word, Excel, Outlook, and Patient Information Database
• Must pass Ishihara Test for Color Deficiency prior to employment
• One year of CHT or CCHT experience is preferred

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate hemodialysis machine to provide dialysis treatment.
• Attaches dialyzer and tubing to machine for use.
• Cannulation of dialysis vascular access or catheter and initiate treatment.
• Monitor patient vitals and machine parameters during dialysis.
• Document findings in EMR and maintain equipment safety checks.
• Maintain water quality sampling and dialysis-related testing as directed.
