Job summary

Mayo Clinic is seeking a Hemodialysis Technician for our NE Clinic in Minnesota. You will work under an RN to provide direct patient care, operate dialysis equipment, and maintain safety and quality controls within the Dialysis Services system.

The role requires a high school diploma, 6 months of experience, and certification within 18 months of hire. A flexible schedule, including days, evenings, nights, holidays and weekends, is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Six months of experience as a Clinical Hemodialysis Technician required.
• Successful completion of Clinical Hemodialysis Technician certification within 18 months of hire.
• Ability to work flexible hours including days, evenings, nights, holidays and weekends.
• Maintains current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers.

Responsibilities

• Assist in dialysis services under RN supervision and team.
• Perform basic hemodialysis techniques and equipment maintenance.
• Monitor water treatment and vascular access; ensure patient safety during dialysis.
• Draw blood samples, prepare for transport and assist with laboratory tests.
