Job summary

Heartland Dental is seeking a Dental Assistant for Dental Care of Boiling Springs in South Carolina. You will greet patients, verify health history, and assist with procedures using iTero and digital imaging. Four-handed dentistry and chairside support will be essential.

You will use Dentrix for scheduling and records, prepare rooms per safety standards, and manage supplies while upholding HIPAA protections and patient care standards.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of dental procedures and terminology.
• Experience in a fast-paced and customer-centric environment.
• If required under the state dental practice act, dental assistant certification and/or x-ray certification.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• HIPAA training and protecting PHI as required.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome patients from the start of their dental journey and support patient comfort and education.
• Take and process x-rays and other diagnostic assessments (iTero 3D scanner, digital photography).
• Provide chairside assistance to dentists during a wide variety of procedures.
• Utilize Dentrix for scheduling and records.
• Prepare treatment rooms following safety protocols per OSHA & CDC.
