Facility: Valleywise Comprehensive Health Center - Phoenix

Department: FQHC Dental - Phoenix

Schedule: Regular FT 40 Hours Per Week

Shifts: Days

Under the direction of the Dental Manager and Dentist, this position provides professional, skilled, age-specific patient care. This role involves assisting in chair-side procedures, performing clinical duties, and providing secretarial and technical services for the dental clinic.

Hourly Pay Rate: $18.24 - $26.90

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Dental Assistant course completion preferred.

Experience

• Previous relevant patient care experience in a dental setting required.
• At least three (3) years of experience as a dental assistant preferred.

Certification/Licensure

• Dental radiography certification required.
• BLS card from an approved AHA training center required upon hire.
• Valid fingerprint clearance card issued by the Arizona Department of Public Safety required or submit a completed affidavit at hire. Must apply within 7 days and present the card within 90 days.

Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities

• Effective reading, writing, and speaking in English required.
• Bilingual skills preferred.
• Ability to work with culturally diverse populations.
• Excellent communication, time management, and leadership skills required.
