Job summary

Richmond Beverage Solutions is seeking a certified lab technician to perform routine and specialized testing of materials and products to ensure compliance with quality standards. This role supports production by providing timely and accurate data, maintaining lab equipment, and documenting results in accordance with company and regulatory requirements.

The position offers 3rd shift from 10pm-6:30am with overtime potential, requires 2 years of lab experience, and includes comprehensive benefits,

Qualifications

• 2 years of lab experience with HS diploma or 2-year college studies in microbiology, basic chemistry, and/or lab work.
• Able to pass all pre-employment screenings including drug, background and criminal checks.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a wet environment.
• Ability to work in a team and adapt to a fast-paced production setting.

Responsibilities

• Conduct physical, chemical, and microbiological testing as required.
• Record and analyze test results, reporting deviations or concerns.
• Maintain lab equipment and ensure calibration schedules are followed.
• Assist in investigations related to product quality or process deviations.
• Follow safety, environmental and quality protocols.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives within the lab and production areas.
• Prepare samples and perform plating for SPC, Coli, yeast, and mold.
• Adhere to GMPs and company policies.
