Job summary

Wake Radiology UNC REX Healthcare in Raleigh is seeking a certified CT Technologist to perform CT procedures at our Raleigh and surrounding area locations. You will prepare, position, and communicate with patients throughout procedures, ensuring high-quality images for radiologist review.

The role requires ARRT CT certification, current CPR, and strong knowledge of anatomy. You will work with radiologists and the team to maintain safety standards and provide excellent patient care.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Radiography.
• ARRT CT certification and current licensure.
• Current CPR certification or willingness to obtain.
• Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to lift/move up to 75 lbs. and assist with patient positioning.
• Willingness to work at other Wake Radiology locations as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT exams according to established protocols and safety standards.
• Prepare, position, and communicate with patients throughout procedures.
• Ensure high-quality images and properly process images for radiologist review.
• Assist radiologists and other team members as needed.
• Perform quality control checks and maintain equipment/service records.
• Provide excellent patient care while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.
• Recognize and report unusual findings, equipment issues, or safety concerns.
• Maintain compliance with regulatory and safety standards.
