Job summary

Wake Radiology UNC REX Healthcare is seeking a CT Technologist to perform CT procedures at Raleigh and surrounding area locations. The role requires ARRT CT certification, an associate degree in Radiography, CPR certification, and strong communication with patients.

The CT Technologist will position patients, acquire high-quality images, support radiologists, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance across multiple Wake Radiology sites.

Qualifications

• Associate or two-year degree in Radiography.
• ARRT registration and CT certification.
• CPR certification or willingness to obtain.
• Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT exams according to established protocols and safety standards.
• Prepare, position, and communicate with patients throughout procedures.
• Ensure high-quality images and properly process images for radiologist review.
• Assist radiologists and other team members as needed.
• Perform quality control checks and maintain equipment/service records.
• Provide excellent patient care while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.
• Recognize and report unusual findings, equipment issues, or safety concerns.
• Maintain compliance with regulatory and safety standards.
