Job summary

Qualifications

• Must have completed an approved Radiologic Technology program.
• ARRT Certification in Computed Tomography is required.
• Texas MRT license is required.
• ARRT Certification (R) in Radiology is required.

Responsibilities

• Performs all Computed Tomography exams and quality control procedures as required by the manufacturer.
• Evaluates orders with radiologist if needed and ensures the correct exam is performed.
• Screens patients to ensure no contraindications for oral or IV contrast.
• Interacts with hospital staff regarding patient care and resolves concerns and conflicts as needed.
• Maintains performance skills and may work weekends, holidays, evenings, nights, overtime, or on-call status as required.
