Job summary

McMillen, Inc. is looking for a Certified Crane Operator. The right candidate will be willing to perform other related duties outside the cab in addition to operating the crane. We are a drug‑free workplace, and you must consent to drug test and background checks.

The Operator's function is to be able to safely operate our L attice Boom Crawler Manitowoc 555. The operator must have good operational skills to be able to produce high volume quality work in a safety‑conscious work environment. The operator must be able to effectively communicate with boat captains, foremen, and laborers to produce quality work in high volume, time‑sensitive conditions.

This position requires 100% travel.

Responsibilities
  • Functions with regular supervision from managers/supervisors.
  • Applies common sense understanding to carry out detailed, but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
  • Must be willing to get out of equipment and assist with laborer duties as needed.
Qualifications
  • NCCCO Crane Certification for Lattice Boom Crawler and RT cranes
  • Crawler crane experience is required
  • Prior experience operating cranes on water is preferred
  • Pass a drug test and background check
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred
  • Valid driver's license
  • Reliable transportation to and from work

Compensation Package
