Job description

McMillen, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Certified Friction Crane Operator. The right candidate will be willing to perform other related duties outside the cab in addition to operating the crane. We are a drug‑free workplace, and you must consent to drug test and background checks.

The operator must have good operational skills to be able to produce high volume quality work in a safety‑conscious work environment. The operator must be able to effectively communicate with boat captains, foremen, and laborers to produce quality work in high volume, time‑sensitive conditions. The operator must be willing to perform other related duties in addition to operating the crane outside of the cab.

All Construction Division offers of employment are contingent upon the successful completion of a background check and drug screen. In accordance with client requirements, security clearance is required and is determined based on background check results.

This position is based in Tremble, Arkansas.

Responsibilities

• Functions with regular supervision from managers/supervisors.
• Applies common sense understanding to carry out detailed, but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
• Must be willing to get out of equipment and assist with laborer duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Experienced in operating a 260‑ton Manitowoc 4000W (or similar) friction crane
• Prior experience operating cranes on water is preferred
• Pass a drug test and background check
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred
• Valid driver's license
• Reliable transportation to and from work
• Regular, predictable attendance is required.
• Ability to get along and work effectively with others.

Compensation Package
