Qualifications

• Able to read lift plans and construction drawings and follow supervisor instructions.
• Physically able to work outdoors, stand for extended periods, and perform manual tasks.
• Reliable transportation to job sites in the Greater Birmingham, Alabama Area and willingness to work standard construction hours.
• Demonstrates safety-first mindset and strong teamwork.
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional vocational/safety training is a plus.

Daily tasks include performing pre-operation inspections, setting up and rigging loads, following load charts and lift plans, and coordinating with ground crews and supervisors to ensure efficient material handling. The role requires strict adherence to safety protocols, documenting equipment checks, and reporting any mechanical issues or hazards. The operator will also assist with general jobsite duties as needed, support project timelines, and collaborate with team members to maintain a safe and organized work environment.

Qualifications

• Current crane operator certification (e.g., NCCCO or equivalent) and proven experience operating cranes on construction sites.
• Strong knowledge of crane load charts, rigging practices, signaling methods, and OSHA safety regulations.
