BAART Programs is seeking a Part-Time Compassionate Substance Use Counselor in Colorado to support patients through medically assisted treatment and coping strategies. You will conduct individual sessions, assess eligibility, and help develop treatment and discharge plans within a collaborative clinical team.
Qualified candidates hold CAC II/III or LAC/LPC/LMFT/LCSW credentials and have at least two years of counseling experience, with strong communication skills.
Position Overview:
Substance abuse counselor will be in charge with assisting patients through medically assisting treatments and offering techniques for hand ling opioid addiction. Counselor conducts individual sessions to assist with crisis management and coping strategies. Counselor will evaluate patients’ progress during counseling and collaborate with doctors, nurses and other counselors to assist the patients’ achieving overall outcome.

Generally starting at $23.78 to $30.00 an hour.
