Job summary

PACS is seeking a Staff Occupational Therapist Assistant in Grapevine, TX. The role supports the Staff Occupational Therapist in delivering resident care and maintaining accurate documentation for compliance and quality improvement.

Responsibilities include direct resident care, treatment planning, and education for residents and families. Requires an OTA license, an accredited COTA program degree, and CPR if required by licensure.

Qualifications

• Associate degree from accredited COTA program.
• Licensed as an Occupational Therapist Assistant in the state.
• CPR certification, if required by licensure.
• Proficient computer skills with Net Health and Point Click Care.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Staff Occupational Therapist with resident care and documentation.
• Maintain a safe treatment environment and infection control.
• Educate residents and families on treatment goals and home exercise programs.
• Participate in care conferences and rehabilitation meetings as needed.
• Assist with training Restorative Aides and equipment needs.
