Position Summary

We are seeking a Certified Central Sterile Process Technician for the 2nd shift to manage the decontamination, sterilization, and distribution of reusable supplies and patient care equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Inspect, decontaminate, assemble, and sterilize instruments following guidelines and regulations (AAMI, AORN, TJC, OSHA).
  2. Operate departmental sterilization equipment safely and efficiently.
  3. Provide excellent customer service to hospital departments.
  4. Document sterilization processes and verify sterility with indicators.
  5. Monitor antimicrobial and disinfection solutions.
  6. Enter patient charges and orders into the system.
  7. Conduct biological monitoring and interpret results.
  8. Operate steam and ETO sterilizers.
  9. Decontaminate instruments, transport supplies, and maintain infection control standards.
Minimum Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST).
  • Critical thinking, decisive judgment, and ability to work independently.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
