Qualifications

• Current, valid, and unrestricted CA license/certification.
• Minimum of one (1) year of recent experience in a community-based acute care hospital as a CST.
• Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) or a certificate confirming sterile processing course completion.
• AHA BLS, MAB or CPI, LA City Fire and Life Safety card (must be LA City Fire).
• Copy of PSV from licensing board or verification agency, if required.
• Copy of all current required certifications and compliance documents.

Responsibilities

• CSTs handle cleaning, decontamination, sterilization, case cart pulling, assembly, packaging, restocking supplies, and dispensing of surgical instruments and supplies for procedures.
