Job summary

AdventHealth in Shawnee Mission, KS is seeking a Sterilization Technician to manage aseptic packaging and sterilization of instrument sets. The role ensures sterility indicators and lot stickers are present and that processing follows established protocols.

Must hold CRCST or CSPDT certification, with 1+ related experience preferred. This full-time, on-site position offers night shift hours and benefits from day one.

Qualifications

Requires CRCST or CSPDT certification.
High school diploma required; technical/vocational training preferred.
Ability to communicate effectively in English, both written and spoken.
1+ related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Selects appropriate materials and sterilization packaging for each instrument set, ensuring proper wrapping for aseptic technique.
Operates complex sterilization equipment, selecting the correct method of sterilization per manufacturer instructions.
Reviews and signs all sterilizer recording charts to verify sterilization parameters before releasing items for clinical use.
Other duties as assigned.
