Job summary

Tracy CDJR is hiring an auto technician to join our service team in Central California. You will perform repairs per repair orders, test components with diagnostic tools, and drive to test vehicles. You’ll diagnose, maintain, and repair automotive systems while delivering exceptional customer service. The role emphasizes warranty work and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience as an auto technician.
• Knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Team-oriented and able to operate diagnostic equipment.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership policies
• Test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment; test drive vehicles
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems
• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed. Complete online multi-point inspection report
• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications

REQUIREMENTS

• Must have at least 2 years of experience as an auto technician
• Have knowledge in all aspects of automotive repair and maintenance
• Have excellent customer service skills
• Are a team player
• Should be able to operate electronic diagnostic equipment
• Have a valid driver’s license
• Have a High School Diploma
