External Job Description

1. Provides personal caregiving services according to an established care plan.
2. Ensures the personal needs and comfort of clients in their homes.
3. Assists with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
4. Prepares meals and manages special diets.
5. Performs general housekeeping duties.
6. Administers medications after training, delegated by a Nurse, with proper certification and licensure.
7. Provides Passive Range of Motion exercises, requiring current credentials and annual CE completion.
8. Assists with vital signs for informational purposes; does not record readings.
9. Provides transportation assistance to and from activities.
10. Offers compassionate companionship to clients.
11. Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Caregiver License (HCA/CNA) required, renewed annually.
• Ability to meet background check requirements.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information responsibly.
