Job summary

Sedgebrook in Phoenix, AZ is seeking ARIZONA CNA caregivers to provide hands-on care and assist residents with ADLs and companionship. You will help keep apartments tidy and support residents’ independence, while performing routine household tasks as requested.

The role includes ambulation support, grooming, meal prep, errands, and reminders for schedules/medication. A compassionate, patient approach is essential for this caring community.

Starting Pay: $18.00-$22.00
Location: Independent Living at Sagewood

What you'll do:

Your role is to provide hands on care and assist residents as needed with their care and ADLs along with being a companion to the resident. Assists with helping to keep resident's apartments tidy and other domestic duties as requested by the resident. By a companion and keep our seniors active while encouraging and respecting their independence.

• Ambulation and transfer assistance
• Toileting, bathing, and grooming assistance
• Wake up services and dressing assistance
• Meal preparation
• Organizational help
• Ambulation support (pushing a wheel chair or accompanying for balance)
• Errands (grocery and household goods shopping, etc.)
• Companionship
• Schedule and medication reminders
• Maintain service plan tracking of all services performed
• Know and understand resident's expectations and meet those expectations within community policy
• Inform Supervisor of any changing conditions that affect the resident's ability to function independently
