Job summary

Lake Seminole Square in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Certified Caregiver to join our Homecare Program in Independent Living. This full-time daytime role offers starting pay of $18.00–$22.00 per hour and the opportunity to support residents with ADLs, mobility, meal prep, and companionship at Sagewood.

You will follow care plans, keep resident apartments tidy, assist with transfers, reminders, and daily activities while preserving independence.

Qualifications

• Must hold Current Arizona Caregiver Certificate or CNA.
• Ability to understand and follow instructions in English, communicate effectively, and document care.
• Provide high levels of customer care with compassion and heart.
• Comfortable standing for extended periods.
• Flu vaccine required.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on care and assist residents with ADLs and be a companion.
• Keep residents' apartments tidy and perform domestic duties as requested.
• Be a companion and keep residents active while respecting independence.
• Ambulation and transfer assistance, toileting, bathing, and grooming assistance.
• Meal preparation and errands (grocery and household goods).
• Schedule and medication reminders; maintain service plan tracking.

Job description

We are seeking a Certified Caregiver to work full time days for our Homecare Program in our Independent Living.

Starting Pay: $18.00-$22.00
Location: Independent Living at Sagewood

What you'll do:

Your role is to provide hands on care and assist residents as needed with their care and ADLs along with being a companion to the residents. Assists with helping to keep resident's apartments tidy and other domestic duties as requested by the residents. Be a companion and keep our seniors active while encouraging and respecting their independence.

• Ambulation and transfer assistance
• Toileting, bathing, and grooming assistance
• Wake up services and dressing assistance
• Meal preparation
• Organizational help
• Ambulation support (pushing a wheel chair or accompanying for balance)
• Errands (grocery and household goods shopping, etc.)
• Companionship
• Schedule and medication reminders
• Maintain service plan tracking of all services performed
• Know and understand resident's expectations and meet those expectations within community policy
• Inform Supervisor of any changing conditions that affect the resident's ability to function independently
