Job summary

Spectrum Retirement Communities is seeking a Certified Caregiver for Memory Care on a part-time basis in Chandler, AZ. This role involves assisting residents with daily living activities, transporting residents to activities and dining, and responding to emergencies while upholding care plans and safety protocols.

The position requires an Arizona Caregiver Certificate, CPR certification, a high school diploma, and English fluency.

Qualifications

• A valid Arizona Caregiver Certificate is required.
• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• CPR certification is required.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Providing residents with assistance in activities of daily living (grooming, bathing, and maintaining personal environment).
• Transporting residents within the community to activities, other departments, or dining.
• Responding to emergency calls, resident/visitor requests, and environmental hazards safely and promptly.
• Reviewing and adhering to resident care plans, and obtaining vital signs.

Schedule: Part-Time

In this position, your main responsibilities will include:

• Providing residents with assistance in the activities of daily living such as grooming, bathing, and maintaining their personal environment
• Transporting residents within the community to activities, other departments, or dining
• Responding to emergency calls, resident and/or visitor requests, and environmental hazards in a timely, appropriate, and safe manner
• Reviewing and adhering to resident care plans, as well as obtaining vital signs

To be successful in this position, we believe that you need the following experiences, strengths, and skills:

• A valid Arizona Caregiver Certificate is required
• High School diploma or equivalent is required
• All state educational requirements for the position must be met
• CPR certification
• Experience working with an elderly population is preferred
• A calm, helpful, and respectful countenance is appreciated
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
