The Opportunity

The Caregiver position provides support for our community’s residents with essential day-to-day tasks they can no longer perform or need help with. Caregivers assist with activities such as laundry, cleaning, bathing, dressing, and medication management. Successful Caregivers are sensitive, respectful, and passionate about helping those in need.

What You’ll Do

• Assist with personal hygiene, including bathing, grooming, and dressing
• Support residents with medication management
• Reposition residents in bed and escort them around the community
• Provide toileting and incontinent care
• Take vital signs, such as blood pressure, heart rate, and pulse
• Observe and report residents’ health status, escalating issues as needed
• Complete daily reports for nurses or designated staff at the end of shifts
• Offer emotional support and comfort to residents and their loved ones
• Assist with mobility, helping residents get in and out of beds, chairs, or wheelchairs
• Assist residents with eating and drinking

What You’ll Bring

Position Requirements / Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred; mandatory in certain states
• Minimum age of 18 years or as required by state regulations

• Experience working independently, in teams, and on projects from start to finish
• Strong emotional intelligence and listening skills
• Dedication to the medical field and working with residents
• Ability to pass state and company background checks and drug tests
• Experience taking vital signs
• Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs)
• Medication supervision within the scope of state regulations
