Certified Caregiver - Memory Care

Frontier Senior Living is seeking an outstanding Certified Caregiver for Canyon Valley Memory Care Residence community located in Green Valley, Arizona. Responsibilities:

1. Safely provide for residents' care and well-being with kindness, excellent communication, and teamwork.
2. Assist with all care needs a resident might require.
3. Maintain confidentiality of resident and fellow employee’s information.
4. Notify Resident Care Coordinator/Executive Director/RN of resident changes of condition.
5. Assist in the dining room during meal times, including setting up, taking orders, serving, and bussing tables.
6. Assist residents in getting to scheduled activities and appointments.
7. Report any change of condition immediately to the appropriate staff.
8. Take accurate vital signs and weights.
9. Assist with in-care needs of residents, including lifting up to 40 pounds.
10. Keep current on First Aid/CPR certifications.
11. Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• High school diploma preferred.
• Proficiency in English required.
• Familiarity and willingness to work with the elderly population; previous experience preferred but not necessary.
• Attend and participate in scheduled in-services and meetings.
• Maintain CPR/First Aid certification.
