Job summary

Assisting Hands Home Care - Manassas is hiring Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) in Centreville, VA, to care for clients with Alzheimer’s and dementia. Shifts available weekdays and weekends in Centreville and surrounding communities, with other shifts and locations in Manassas and Gainesville.

We offer competitive hourly pay with same-day pay access, flexible scheduling, and benefits including dental and vision insurance, with travel between clients reimbursed.

Qualifications

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant license in Virginia.
• Experience with Alzheimer’s and dementia care (all stages).
• Current CPR certification and negative TB screening.
• Ability to pass a background check (per VA HCO regulations).
• Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and proof of insurance.
• Physically able to lift 25 lbs. and provide mobility support.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality care and personal assistance for dementia and Alzheimer’s clients.
• Support safe transfers, ambulation, and mobility.
• Help with bathing, grooming, dressing, and feeding.
• Offer meaningful companionship and cognitive engagement.
• Perform light housekeeping and meal preparation.
• Assist with medication reminders and care documentation.
• Maintain safety and a calm environment for all clients.
