Job summary

Alamo Colleges District seeks a Certified Career Experience Navigator to help community members, faculty, staff, and students learn about experiential learning opportunities across all colleges within the district, ensuring every student has an experiential learning experience before graduation.

Reporting to the Career Experience Team Leader, the role requires a bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) and two years of related work, preferably in a college setting; master’s degree and four

• Two years of related experience, preferably in a college setting.
• Experience working with parents/students in an educational or community program.

Job Summary and Description

Assists assigned community members, faculty, staff,and students to increase awareness of the availability of Experiential Learningexperiences at all colleges within the Alamo Colleges District (ACD), ensuring thatevery student will have an Experiential Learning experience by graduation.

Reports to the Career Experience Team Leader.

• Bachelor's degree or a combination of relevant experience, education and training that equates to the required degree.
• Two year of related experience, preferably in a college setting.
• Experience working with parents/students in an educational or community program.

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Master’s degree in a related field.
• Four years of related experience.
• Two years’ experience working with parents/students in an educational or community program.

Licenses and Certifications:

• Must complete Level III Career Navigator Certification within 12 months of hire.
• Must be certified in key competencies as defined by Student Success leadership within 12 months of hire.
