Job summary

AutoNation is seeking an Automotive Technician to perform repair and maintenance per dealer and factory standards while building customer trust and loyalty. You will diagnose issues, communicate with the Parts Department, and conduct multi-point inspections to ensure safety and reliability.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ years of experience as an automotive technician.
• Automotive technical training (store needs).
• Attention to detail.
• Organization and follow-up skills.
• Valid in-state driver’s license and acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle repair and/or maintenance as outlined on the repair order, with efficiency and accuracy, per dealer and factory standards to drive customer loyalty.
• Communicate with Parts Department and Service Advisors to manage production and customer communication.
• Diagnose causes of malfunctions and perform repairs as authorized by the customer.
• Conduct multi-point inspections and make appropriate safety/reliability recommendations.
• Document all work on the repair order.
• Maintain inventory of non-regular tools and stay current with factory bulletins and training.
• Provide an exceptional customer experience to drive loyalty.
