AutoNation in Chicago, IL is hiring an Advanced Technician to perform vehicle repair and preventive maintenance per dealer and factory standards. You will diagnose, repair, and communicate with Service Advisors to keep production on track.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of automotive technician experience.
• Automotive technical training (varies by store).

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle repair and maintenance per repair order, to dealership and factory standards.
• Communicate with Parts Department and Service Advisors to manage production and customer updates.
• Diagnose malfunctions and repair if authorized by customer.
• Conduct multi-point inspections and recommend safety/reliability improvements.
• Document work on the repair order and maintain tool inventory for the shop.
• Stay updated on factory bulletins and participate in training.
• Provide an exceptional customer experience to drive loyalty.
