Job summary

Gossett Motor Cars in Memphis, TN is seeking experienced Service Technicians to diagnose, repair and maintain automobiles with a focus on quality and efficiency. You will work with diagnostic tools, communicate with the Service Advisor, and ensure repairs meet manufacturer specifications while delivering excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Strong automotive knowledge and hands-on repair experience.
• Ability to work well in a team to achieve targets.
• Willing to submit to a drug screen and background check.
• Must have a clean and valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership.
• Test-drive vehicles and test components using diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle systems including engine, transmission, brakes, and A/C.
• Communicate with the Service Advisor about needed additional work and time estimates.
• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.

Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership
• Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
• Diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed. Providing an estimate of time needed for additional repairs
• Executing repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications
