Job summary

Ed Morse Automotive Group is seeking a Certified Automotive Service Technician to join our team. The role requires a minimum of 5 years of experience, a valid driver's license, and a preference for certification.

You will diagnose and repair a broad range of vehicle systems, provide repair estimates, and communicate clearly with customers and service advisors. We offer pay from $40,000 to $150,000 per year, weekly pay, and generous benefits.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid driver’s license.
• Minimum 5 years of experience.
• Certified preferred.
• Team oriented, flexible and focused on maintaining a high level of customer service.
• Working knowledge of shop equipment such as wheel and tire equipment, alignment system, diagnostic equipment, AC equipment, etc.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, braking, air conditioning, etc.
• Perform work specified on maintenance and repair orders with efficiency and in accordance with dealership standards.
• Provide labor and time estimates for additional automotive repairs.
• Explain mechanical diagnoses and required repairs in a non-technical manner to service advisors and customers.
• Continuously learn new technical information and techniques in formal training sessions.
• Inspect and test new vehicles and recording findings so that necessary repairs can be made.
